The Opto-Interface HZ70 is an optical fiber transmission line. The interface protocol corresponds to that of the RS-232 interface. It is used in cases where the test configuration requires galvanic separation or transmission must be free of interference. The use of an optical fiber transmission line also prevents problems caused by ground loops and RF feedback. The standard cable length is 4 m.
